CalTrans: Highway 99 Merced
Caltrans completed major pavement rehabilitation and safety improvements along Highway 99 in Merced in Spring 2024, including roadway resurfacing, guardrail upgrades, and traffic realignments to improve safety and ride quality. USA Trucking Inc. supported the project by hauling construction materials and providing essential trucking logistics to keep operations moving during phased lane closures.
Altamond Landfill Tracy
USA Trucking Inc. provided large-scale hauling services at Altamont Landfill in Tracy, California, supporting high-volume material movement operations. The scope included 25,000 tons hauled using a combination of truck and transfer units and bottom dumps, with daily production ranging from 2,000 to 2,500 tons. Operations were performed utilizing a versatile fleet of Super 10s, bottom dumps, and end dumps, allowing for flexible deployment, efficient material movement, and consistent production to meet demanding daily haul requirements.
CalTrans: Highway 80 Fairfield
Caltrans Project 04-0K6404 is a major improvement effort along Interstate 80 in Solano County near Fairfield and Vacaville, focused on enhancing roadway safety, pavement performance, and traffic operations. The project included cold planing, RHMA and HMA overlay paving, median guardrail installation, and signal and lighting upgrades. USA Trucking Inc. played a key role in the project by delivering high-volume RHMA and HMA materials during overnight operations, supporting continuous paving activities during lane closures and helping crews maintain production schedules while reducing daytime traffic impacts.
UC Davis Medical Center Parking Lot
Parking Structure 5 is a 957-stall facility featuring more than 90 electric vehicle charging stations, designed to support a highly active campus environment. The structure includes a subterranean entry to maintain uninterrupted pedestrian and emergency vehicle access, connecting Parking Structure 4 to the Cancer Center and future RHT facilities. Additional features include attached office space, a secure bicycle enclosure, elevated landscaping, and photovoltaic panels. USA Trucking Inc. supported construction of the project through material hauling and disposal operations, including earthwork and aggregate transport, coordinating trucking activities within a constrained, high-traffic campus setting to support continuous site operations.
Calaveras Sunol Dam
The Calaveras Dam Replacement Project was a landmark $823 million infrastructure effort led by the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission (SFPUC) to replace the original 1925 dam with a modern, seismically resilient structure. Completed in 2019, the project included construction of a 220-foot-high earth and rock-fill dam and a new spillway designed to withstand major seismic events along the Calaveras Fault and safeguard the Bay Area’s water supply. Over the course of the five-year project, USA Trucking Inc. performed extensive daytime and nighttime hauling operations, deploying approximately 50 trucks per shift and hauling more than 100,000 tons of material using Super Dump and End Dump trucks, supporting continuous production throughout critical phases of dam

CalTrans: Highway 80 Roseville
Caltrans Contract EA 03-3F23U4 in Placer County involved major roadway excavation, aggregate base placement, and hot mix asphalt paving along portions of Interstate 80 near Roseville and Rocklin. USA Trucking Inc. supported the project through extensive dirt offhaul and disposal operations, as well as aggregate and material hauling, performing sustained trucking operations during overnight work and multiple extended 72-hour and 96-hour haul windows to support accelerated construction schedules and minimize impacts to the traveling public.
CalTrans: 03-3H6104 Confax
Caltrans Contract 03-3H6104 is a major highway infrastructure improvement project along approximately 6.6 miles of Interstate 80 in Placer County, extending from west of the Monte Vista Overcrossing to east of the Drum Forebay Overcrossing near Colfax. Project elements included roadway excavation, hot mix asphalt (HMA) paving, jointed plain concrete pavement (JPCP), drainage system upgrades, alternative pipe liner installation, steel soldier piles, and lighting modifications. USA Trucking Inc. supported the project by performing complete wet batch concrete hauling operations, providing reliable delivery of concrete materials to support JPCP construction and associated structural work within an active interstate corridor.
Cesear Chavez High School Stockton
USA Trucking fueled the construction and upgrades at Cesar Chavez High School through our heavy-haul and transport services. Our fleet moved high volumes of construction aggregates to the site and managed the efficient hauling of waste and debris.
